The Return of Commodore Gaming?

Talk about a vintage/retro gaming system becoming  the ultimate phoenix rising! Word on the street is that the Commodore Computer gaming system is making a comeback.  A similar story emerged years ago, where Commodore would reinvent itself to conquer the gaming world…but it never happened. And, once again…the story surfaces with a new “sheik” look and a system with powerful insides. Could this be the the next “hot thing” or just the  PR machine spinning a golden story?

At Cebit in Hannover, Germany today, Commodore is expected to unveil/showcase/demo its upcoming wares. The Commodore web site says the store will open in mid-April, where you can purchase Commodore XX, Commodore GX, Commodore GS and Commodore G. You have to wonder…will they survive in a saturated gaming market and how will they differentiate themselves from everyone else?

There’s a Pinup Girl in All of Us…(with just the right dress)

 

There’s a pinup girl in all of us, and mine really emerged when I discovered MybabyJo.com– a fab web site that caters to vintage wear that was made for posing. Their mantra is “a girl’s gotta have options” and at this site, girls definitely do. I found some seriously amazing dresses that are everything from ”wiggle wiggle” and “flight girl” to “peeka-a-boo” and  ”polka dots.” Some of my favs are below, but dresses are only the beginning.
